Painting Challenge..

Well I started a painting challenge, and about the first week into it, I got really sick.  So for about a week I haven't been painting, but I'm feeling better today, and I'm planning my next painting. :)  Also, I've been working on a bunch of photography projects.  Today I made my first diy backdrop!! Tie-dye style. So I will be posting pics soon.  I'm also working on homemade lighting and stands, which is really exciting!  

I've strayed once again from this blog, but I've had plenty of ideas about writing posts, but have never found the time.  Finding time is so hard, to just do the normal routine things that daily life requires! I think blogging is really interesting, and would like to give it a whirl, but I'm not making any commitments because I know I have not been able to stick with this thing.

 This is one of the series I made for Drawing 311.  They're made on vellum 12x12 paper, with ink and prisma color markers.  Some of them have three layers and some have the same drawings, but the layers are switched up.

Hello world!

Well, it's been almost a year since I've posted on my other blog.  (That I created with the intentions of posting regularly) Hmmm.. I have a really hard at this whole blogging thing, but I'm going to attempt it again.  I'm deleting my old blog, and creating this one.  Just seems right to start fresh-y new!   This blog will kinda serve as a journal of my artwork, I'm going to try to update it (o.k. here goes) once a week.  I'm going to try this for a few months, and we'll see where it leads. Also, I'm adding to my load.. I'm starting a separate blog for my photography. . .  Sounds like I'm going to be busy!  I feel that my photography is completely separate from my artwork, so it should be in a different place.

As I'm getting closer to graduation, the urge to be more productive is increasing... this past year has been one of the most challenging of my life, and I hope that things are going to only go uphill from now.  The next few posts will be the work that I created about this time last year, and then I'm going to start posting art I'm making now.  I've started this madness with a series of line that has taken over.. You will see soon..
